Laws of Love

"Where love rules, there is no will to power, and where power predominates, love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other." (Carl Jung, "On the Psychology of the Unconsciousness", 1917n.)

Often in metaphysics our physical body is said to correspond to a flame, and the current flowing through it corresponds to love. Until we transfer our sense-of-self, from being the flame, to being the current of love, we will always be out of balance. We will burn too hot, becoming egotistical and attracting the wrong kind of relationships, or lack love and burn too cold, appearing standoffish and unlovable, with no one wanting to relate to us.

Love, like the current is our source of our sense-of-self. We must learn to encourage its flow by creating more heat to generate our compatibility, by directing its course so it doesn’t short circuit. We can encourage its flow by learning to love things that won’t reject us, like the birds and trees, graduating to animals, and then people. Directing its course requires discrimination, or we revert to a flame again, anytime someone rejects us.

On a subtle level, love is a magnetic energy just like electrical current. The more love flowing through us out to others, the better we feel about ourselves, and the less we care about what others think. The power of love, when we love ourselves, changes the cellular structure of our thirty trillion little cells. When they feel loved, we begin to radiate their magnetism, and we become more compatible to the vibration of love.

Therefore, being lovable to ourselves, increases the flow of love within us, but by giving love to others, changes how they perceive us. Then, when we practice giving even more love, it changes how we perceive others, and begins to develop a spiritual substance in our blood stream.

As we perceive the magnetism in others and the things we desire by practicing loving the little cells in our body by thinking of them as pets, we encourage and direct them to become permanent receiver of love.

Love Compatibility

So, we learned that the law of love requires that we first love ourselves enough that we can love others. By an act of giving, that love is vivified in us. To love ourselves, cannot be based on a sense of neediness, like most love that ends bitterly. Even a successful fifty-year marriage divorcing leaves each partner as empty as they were before they met.

Giving to Ourselves by Giving to others.

The love that we can share, comes from our magnetized center within. This is the only way we can give love to others. We must first fill ourselves, and then radiate it out to others. In religions, they say put god first in your relationships, so if your partner runs away, you won’t turn back into a light bulb, and stop glowing love.

There is a point if the partner has nothing more to teach you, and parting is inevitable. This is unimaginable to most people in love. Since electric current is fluctuating, so too, must we learn to fluctuate our magnetic field of love. Constant heat will just make someone get bored, and act stupid around us. We then, either have to pull away, or learn to fluctuate our love in proportion to how much love, they can handle.

To control the fluctuating pulse, requires letting go. There are two aspects to control. The first is letting go of judgment to things past, flaws in our personality, things we said or did. The best way, is to admit you loved the best you could at the time, evolving to perfection. In the second aspect we let go of our expectations to attract the initial impulse back to ourselves.

Just like the sun, we shoot radiating beams from the heat of love that attracts and magnetizes the particles of light. Astrological compatibility is similar, the more love we radiate, the less influence our chart has over our karmic relationships with others.
